CPDE Activities


The main activities of the CPDE as part of the project in Gramsh and Shkoder are the following:

  • Training trainers and teachers from the selected schools in peace and disarmament education methods and the subjects of debate, communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and leadership skills.
  • Publishing international and national manuals on peace and disarmament education in Albanian.
  • Organizing debates and public discussions for tolerance, peace, disarmament, conflict resolution, human rights; these debates are covered by mass-media.
  • Facilitation and support for educative and recreational activities such as contests in the fields of philosophy, literature, art, and social studies at the main school and outside of it that will promote tolerance, peace, disarmament, conflict resolution, human rights.
  • Working with student governments and other school organizations on peace and disarmament issues.
  • Organizing joint activities amongst different schools on tolerance, peace, disarmament, conflict resolution, and human rights.
