The German language teachers at the Jordan Misja school organized a German-language activity Let us live together that celebrated the traditional songs, poetry and theatrical skits of three German speaking countries, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The underlying message was that we should celebrate diversity and learn from the other.

Some Shkodra pupils and teachers also initiated a series of events to celebrate living Shkodra artists and writers. These artists have contributed a lot to the community during their active years and now are retired. Because of the difficult times in Shkodra, they feel neglected and forgotten. The pupils gave symbolic gifts to the artists, and invited them to the school to share their work.

At the end of the school year in June, a celebration of the best retiring teachers and the best graduating secondary schools in Shkodra was organized by our coordinator, Kole Shiroka and sponsored by our project.
