Activities in Gramsh


You can find here the detailed description of all the project’s main activities in the district of Gramsh.

  • Secondary school democracy, peace and disarmament education project:
    • Train teachers in peace and disarmament education and its integration into specific academic subjects.
    • Assist creation of school newspaper with focus on stories of arms collection, alternatives to violent responses, creative student initiatives and relationship building.
    • Support collaboration of urban and rural students in the school to reclaim space lost to conflict for a multipurpose sports field accessible to everyone.
    • Support to students for a participatory student governance system.
  • Support links to public library on peace and disarmament education.
  • Cultural/Arts Center- Promote peace, disarmament and tolerance through the arts by supporting appropriate project in the Palace of Culture and the Children’s Cultural Center.
